7-Layer Email Verification

Every email goes through these checks in milliseconds

1

Syntax Check

Validates email format against RFC 5322 standards. Catches typos, missing @ symbols, and invalid characters.

2

MX Record Lookup

Queries DNS to verify the domain has active mail servers configured and can receive email.

3

Disposable Detection

Checks against 2,000+ disposable email providers like Mailinator, Guerrilla Mail, and TempMail.

4

Free Provider Check

Identifies free email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) vs business/custom domains.

5

Role-Based Detection

Flags generic addresses like info@, sales@, support@ that rarely convert in outreach.

6

Typo Suggestion

Detects common domain typos (gmial, yahooo, outlok) and suggests corrections.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about email verification

What checks does this email verifier perform?
It performs 7 checks: RFC syntax validation, DNS/MX record lookup, disposable domain detection (2,000+ providers), free email provider identification, role-based address detection, domain typo suggestion, and a combined deliverability score.
Why should I avoid sending to disposable emails?
Disposable emails are temporary addresses that expire within hours or days. Sending to them increases your bounce rate, damages sender reputation, and wastes campaign budget. Most will hard-bounce, which can get your domain blacklisted.
What are role-based emails and why do they matter?
Role-based emails (info@, sales@, admin@, support@) go to a team or department, not an individual. They have much lower open rates in B2B outreach (under 5% vs 25%+ for personal emails) and many ESPs penalize sending to them.
Is my data private?
All checks run in your browser. The only external call is a DNS lookup via Google's public DNS API to verify MX records, which only sends the domain name (not the full email). No emails are stored, logged, or shared.
How many emails can I verify?
Unlimited single verifications and up to 50 emails per bulk check. There are no daily limits. For lists larger than 50, we recommend professional tools like DeBounce, NeverBounce, or ZeroBounce.
